The State Classic Tournament (qualified in 2007) was held at Lake Seminole February 9-10, 2008.  Wingates Lodge, Marina, and Campgrounds hosted the tournament.

Congratulations are in order to the 2008 Georgia B.A.S.S.  Federation Nation State Team. First (1st) Place and State Champion is Bradley Enfinger.  Second (2nd) thru 12th Place (in order) are: Paul Tyre, Angelo Koundourakis, Waine Pittman, Glen Harmon, Ronnie Garrison, Roger Morrow, Kevin White, Stephen Nalder, Sam Moody, Chris Blair and Walon Koehler.  The alternates (13th-15th) are:Tony Beck, Mike Morris and David Leonard.

1st Place and the Title of State Champion goes to:Bradley Enfinger with a total weight of 28.65 lbs.  GREAT JOB Bradley!

The Big Bass Of The Tournament (6.68lbs.): Caught by Angelo Koundourakis.

The First Place Club with 78.75lbs. is Dixie Bassmasters.  Although the weather was really nice for both days, the fish were scattered and with water temperatures averaging below 60 degrees, the action was slow most of the time.

All participants are to be congratulated on their performance, courtesy, and safe boating practices.  We all thank our officers Jeff Jones, Mike Prindle, Wayne Barr, Bob Smithson and Doug Moore for their hard work and preparation to make this a pleasant and professional event!
